Code reviews are a big part of any tech team's day-to-day. They help us make sure we're writing the best code possible and catch any bugs early. But let's be honest, they can also be tiring and take up a lot of time. Plus, sometimes pull requests sit there waiting for a review, becoming 'stale' and holding up the whole development process. We were going to create our Slack bot. Prior to Axolo, the engineers were really just copy/pasting from GitLab to Slack. Obviously that's tedious work to copy and paste like that. As a side-project, we started working on our Slack bot to replace this copy/paste. We though of several other tasks the Slack bot could do.But it's difficult to find enough time in a day to build a Slack bot in addition to your work, and features, and other things that are important to your users. Then we found Axolo.

It's been an exciting experience. Currently, we have around 50 to 60 engineers from eight different teams using the application. GitHub's notification system for the code review process is subpar.
